3 months car insurance for 19 year old female

Hi,

I am 19 so therefore am finding it really difficult to find cheap temporary inscurance. I am back from uni for 3 months but it seems ridiculous to take out a year long policy when I won't use it in that time. Any help?

Lucy,

Of course it is unwise to take out a year's insurance cover when you only need it for 3 months. You will be glad to know that you can get car insurance on a monthly basis with eCar Pay As You Go Insurance. When you sign up with them, you will get a contract for one month and you can renew it again for any additional month you need insurance cover for. As long as you are 17 or over and have got your full driving licence, you shouldn't have any problems to get this kind of insurance policy.

I'm a male with the same problem and I got quoted £500 for a month on a fiesta! What? I don't have that kind of money!
