7 days car insurance for 22 year old

Hi,

I am 22 and have just had to sell my Ford Streetka that has now left me without a car and struggling for transport. I am just looking to get 7 day car insurance cover on my mum's car, her insurance will not cover temporary. I have been on numerous sites trying to find cover but am hitting a brick wall every time, please can you help or suggest what I can do.

Kindest Regards
Jemima

Jemima,

How long have you had your licence for? Less than a year? If yes, then this can cause problems as most insurance companies providing temporary cover only insure people who've had held their licence for at least a year and are 21 or over.

If you have not held your licence for a year, then the minimum cover that you can get is for a month - nothing less than that I'm afraid.
