Any way to decrease my driving ban?

I had a accident and fractured my back in 2 places, I was on a ban that had 14 days left on it. I've just had a beautiful baby girl and finished a course building to get me back into work. I need to drive again to put food on the table for my baby. I have been on this ban for two years now. Can I get anything off this ban? HElP!

James,

I'm not sure if I understand correctly your situation - you were on a driving ban which would have finished in 14 days and you have been banned again for 2 years before the first ban expired. Is that correct? If that's the case, then the only way you could have reduced your ban would be through a drink drivers rehabilitation course. Have you been asked to do this course by the court which sentenced you?
