Banned for dangerous driving and drink drive, any chance to get my licence back earlier?

I have completely learned my lesson and would never make this mistake ever again. I am in employment at the other side of bradford and have been for more than 12 months now. I also have a young son. I find it difficult to get to and from work. I would like to apply to get my licence back early as I have served 18 months of my 3 year ban already.

For a 3 year driving ban, you can request your licence after you've served 2 years. However it's upto the court which sentenced you to decide whether you should get your licence before your ban expires and it only happens if you've got a valid reason for it. In cases of extreme hardship, this is possible.
