Becoming Driving Instructor With Convictions

Hi,

Could you help me? I've got criminal convictions from teens to early twenties; I'm thirty three now and a responsible person and I want to become a driving instructor but would my past go against me?

Many thanks,
Lee

Lee,

The requirements for becoming a driving instructor can be summarised in 4 points and the one which concerns you is about driving disqualification. As long as you have not been disqualified in the last 4 years, you should be fine.

You can always submit your application to become an instructor and if there's any problem, then you will be notified but chances are that because it's been such a long, your disqualification will no longer be counted.
