Best car for young driver to get cheap insurance

Hi

I've started to learn how two drive and have been saving for a car for a while and finally have the money. I haven't bought one yet but would like to know what the best car to get cheap insurance at my age. I am a young driver and am looking for cheap insurance. Thank you.

I would suggest that you get a small car to start off with - have a look at the cheapest cars to insure for new drivers to get an idea. Car insurance quotes depend on quite a few factors and an important one of them is the area where you live. Now here's the tip - after looking at the cars which are cheapest to insure, try to get a few registration numbers (you can get them on used cars for sale websites, eg autotrader) and go on a car insurance comparison site and check how much it would cost to insure that car at your address. This is give you a pretty good idea on how much you're likely to pay in premiums.
