Can I get cheaper insurance for driving without any passengers?

I am a single person and want to know if there is any way I can save money on the car insurance as I drive on my own all the time. No passengers etc. Does that make a difference to any type of insurance policy? Please advise. thanks

Salemm,

Unfortunately, car insurance does not work out this way. Actually when you get insured for driving purposes, you and any passengers travelling with you are insured automatically. So it makes no difference whether you drive on your own at all times or if you have people with you in the car. However if you don't drive very often, then you can put a lower mileage when you apply for car insurance and this would reflect in a lower premium for your quote. You can also consider getting a smaller car (if you have a powerful car) and that would decrease your premiums as well. Just saying this because if you travel on your own, then you wouldn't need a big car as a small one will suffice your needs but then again I might be wrong depending on your circumstances.
