Can my husband be the main policy holder for both his car and mine?

Can my husband be the main policy holder for both his car and mine with me as named driver on mine only and what happens to his no claims bonus if I have a prang etc? I am a learner driver who has just purchased a car and my husband is a professional driver who has 8 yrs ncb.

Course he can. The only problem is that if you have an accident where you're at fault, he will some of his no claims bonus. You are better off getting learner insurance until you pass your test as this will help you practice in your own car but will not affect your husband's NCD in any way should you need to make a claim on your car insurance policy.
