Disqualified and now need to pass extended test, who will insure me?

I'm a disqualified driver what company can I contact for insurance. I'm on a provisional licence till I pass an extended test. Been on quote zone filled in their form and right at the end it says they make assumptions that (1) I have no medical reason I can't drive and (2) I'm not disqualified. What's the point in that?

Need a few more details from you:

  1. How long did you have your licence before you got banned?
  2. How long was you driving ban for?
  3. Why were you banned?
  4. What sort of car are you trying to insure?
  5. How many years no claims bonus have you got?

Some insurers will not insure certain type of convictions, so it is good to know what we're dealing with here.

Have you tried http://www.econvictedquote.co.uk/ (eConvictedQuote)? They guarantee that they will beat 95% of all convicted driver insurance quotes. Might be worth a try!
