Does anyone know what has happened to bikescarsandvans in West Yorkshire?

I'm in the same situation as you, I went to their office on Wednesday and it was desereted, so i've contacted West Yorkshire police. They told me as I live in Sheffield i need to contact my local station and make a statement before they can look into whats happened.

We are also in the same situation. Car supposedly due to be delivered 1st March. BCAV Solutions Limited are going into voluntary liquidation on 2nd March according to a letter we received.

I suggest everyone reports it to the Police and try to have the Directors done for fraud. I wonder if they even placed any orders with the car manufacturers or if the whole thing was a scam. We are all highly unlikely to see our money again but at least we can try and get them to face criminal charges.

Sorry to hear your problem. I was in the same boat 5000 deposit on ka but last night got money back. Reported them to police in carlisle who did bugger all then went to chief. Nick 016973 71728, I've tried to tell the police on them since 21.11,10, phone or email, need brought to justice.

Hi folks, we spoke to Police in Halifax about BCAV who were very helful and are now coordinating everyones complaints about this firm. They are virtually certain it was all a scam and no cars were ever ordered. They are going to try to build a case against Christopher Lord the Director of BCAV (maybe not his real name?) They have told us that the bank account we paid into has been cleared unsurprisingly - perhaps several were in use by them though. Suggest everyone reports to the Police then at least they can hopefully gather evidence and we can see some this guy and his colleagues (who the Police think were all in on it together) brought to justice. if that doesn't work we can all only hope there's some Karma in this world or the next for this gang?

GOOD NEWS! Christopher Lord, Director BCAV arested last week. out on bail now. Lets hope they get the rest of them soon.

Do we know who the rest of them are? Jason Wright and Christopher Lord owe me more money than most on here, having paid for my 'new' car in early December 2010. The issue was reported to my local police, who again were worse than useless, but at least they did suggest I use Trading Standards for my complaint. I can't afford to lose £14k, but like everyone else on here, thought I'd followed correct procedures to ensure my purchase was sound. Just hope the fraud squad get involved and justice is done.

BCAV have caused me nothing but trouble from day one! I have a feeling that Jason Wright was the brains behind the operation with Christopher Lord being the escape goat. It seems Jason Wright, if his real name has just vanished from the face of the planet. Anyone got any updates on whats happening with them?
