I've been done for drink driving but they want me to go to Swindon to do my reduction but I live in london. Why do I have to travel over 300 miles to do it? Surely there is a closer one.

Not sure why the court asked you to go to Swindon for your drink driving course. Maybe the other centres were fully booked and Swindon was the closest one that they could fit you in. Just speculating here. You can contact the court where you were sentenced and asked whether they can appoint you a closer one to London instead.
