Driving insurance for son with provisional licence

Collingwood Learner Driver Insurance

I want to put my 17 year old on my insurance, he has a provisional licence and I want to help him in between lessons. Any suggstions who will do that? I am with Zurich and no-one under 35 is allowed to drive my car!

It is strange that your current insurer, Zurich, will not provide insurance for your 17 year old son. You must be getting a good deal with Zurich to be with them in the first place so it's not going to be a good move to change insurance company now although there are a couple of insurers who will insure drivers with provisional licence.

If you want to help you son by giving him some private lessons, then you can get short term learner insurance for that purpose. There's only one company which provides this at the moment and it is listed below:
