Early return of licence

What is the best reason to have a licence returned early? Work commitments, family health reasons? Colleague was banned for being over limit then stupidly took car to shops so she got caught again and a three year ban.

Lorraine,

If your colleague has been banned for 3 years, then the earliest she could get her licence back is after 2 years of serving the driving ban. The only time when you can actually appeal against a driving ban is before you are sentenced. You will then have the opportunity to appoint a drink drive solicitor to defend your case but there's nothing much you can do after the ban has been imposed unfortunately.
