Good Student Car Insurance

Hi

I was wondering whether you can get cheaper car insurance quotes for being a good student. Is there some kind of discount which applies in this situation?

Thanks for any help.

Car insurance does not work out this way unfortunately. Being a good student at college/univeristy is a great thing and you should keep up the good work. However car insurance for student is largely affected by other factors like good driving records. This means that the more years of good driving (No Claims Bonus) that you have, will give you bigger discounts.

Even though getting your car insured as a student is going to be expensive to start up with, eventually you will pay cheaper for your premiums as you show to the insurers that you are a good driver after all, by building your no claims bonus (NCB).
