You can call DVLA and ask them when your ban runs out or you can contact the court where you were sentenced to get this information. Usually a few weeks before the ban ends, DVLA sends a reminder to let you know that your driving disqualification is nearly over so that you can apply for your licence back. Sometimes people don't receive the letter probably because it gets lost before reaching you. So if you think your ban is over, just confirm that with DVLA and then you can fill an application to get your licence. Should take 3 weeks from when DVLA gets your application for a new licence to be issued to you.
