How do I know when my tank is full when I'm filling up?

When I'm filling up my tank at the petrol station, how do I know that my tank is full? I don't want to overfill my car and do not want to fill up three quarters as well. Is there a way to tell when the petrol has reached its maximum limit in the car's tank?

When you put the pump into your tank, the petrol will keep filling up your car until it's full. You will know that it's full when the pump stops. This happens automatically to prevent your tank from overflowing. This is why you will see people looking randomly everywhere instead on focusing on the pump when they're at a petrol station as they know that the petrol will stop being pumped when their tank is full.
