How many passengers are allowed when a learner is driving?

Hi

Please can you tell me how many passengers are allowed when a learner driver is driving a car?

Paul,

You can potentially have as many people as can be fitted in the car. So if you're learning in a 5 seater, then you can have 4 more people with you. However this is not recommended because it will distract and make the learner more nervous. That is why most driving instructors give a one-to-one driving lesson to help the learner concentrate more on the road and be more comfortable in driving. It is bad practice to have another learner in the car waiting for his turn to drive while another is learning.
