How quick can I apply back for my licence if my ban is 10 years?

My ban started 20th May 2005, when can I apply to get it back without having to wait 10 years?

For a ten years driving ban, you can request to have your licence back after 5 years. Please refer to the article on how soon can I get my licence after disqualification to understand it more. I should point out that when you make a formal request to the court where you were sentenced, you will need to have a valid reason for looking to get your driving licence earlier than the expiry date of your ban. Usually it's only for a change of circumstances or hardship that the court will grant you the request.
