Mini Cab Insurance

I am thinking of starting up my own mini cab company - one of the first things I must look at is mini cab insurance, can you help me?

There are many different types of insurance cover and you have to decide which is best for you. For example, you have comprehensive policies, third party, fire and theft policies, third party only taxi policies, private car no claims bonus accepted, taxi fleet insurance policy and nationwide taxi insurance. As you are starting out at such a bad time (recession) you might want to consider 3-6 months or 12 month policies. This gives you the flexibility to stop the policy if the minicab business is unsuccessful. There are a few companies out there that offer short term mini cab insurance.
