Need short provisional insurance as driving test is booked next month

Hi, can I apply for a short provisional insurance as I've got my test book for next month but also I have just bought a car? Can I get this type of insurance on my own car? Please help asap...thnks

Yes, that's not a problem. However the minimum length of cover that you can get is for 4 weeks. Remember that you will need to be supervised at all times as this is a legal requirement as a learner driver. If you decide to take the policy now, you will have plenty of time to practice in your own car and would be able to take your car on the driving test if you wish, provided the period of cover is within your driving test date.
