PDI needing 28 days insurance to teach two learner drivers

Hi,

I am a PDI desperately needing real pupil experience. I was wondering if I can get two learners insured on my car for 28 days.

Eileen,

I'm not sure whether you can get short term insurance as a Potential Driving Instructor (PDI) but you can try the following company:

DIA Insurance

Once you've obtained a quote from their website, you can then ring them quoting your reference number and ask them for only 28 days insurance cover rather than for a whole year. If that doesn't work, then there's another option but it will cost something like £80 insurance-wise per learner. I'm not sure if it's worth it but if it's experience you're after, then you might as well try it.

Anyway, let me know how this one goes first and we can take this further afterwards.

Thank you I'll try that. Eileen
