Promotion at work and baby due, can I get licence back early?

I was recently banned for 25 months but attended a rehabilation course which brought the ban to 18 months. Can I apply to get my license back earlier through change in circumstances as I have been offered a promotion at work and have a baby due?

Phill,

If you have been banned for 25 months (2 years, 1 month in total), then you are only allowed to request your licence back after a period of 2 years have elapsed. You have already managed to reduce your driving disqualification to 18 months and this is the best that you are going to get. Sometimes for change in circumstances, you can appeal to the court where you were banned but in your case you cannot do that because the court will only consider your application after two years have passed regarding your driving ban unfortunately.
