If she has got
provisional insurance for a year, she will have to inform the insurer when she passes her driving test so that they can amend her policy. You would have to notify your insurer of any changes in your circumstances anyway (change of address, convictions etc), otherwise they can invalidate any claims that you make.
So when she gets her full driving licence, all she has to do is inform her car insurance company. However her premiums may change as what was quoted before was based on the fact that she has a provisional licence. Most of the time the premiums tend to increase because when you are on a provisional licence, you need to have someone to supervise you and when you get your full licence, you are allowed to drive on your own and this is a higher risk to the insurers.
