Provisional licence and learner insurance

I'm 28 years old and I have a provisional UK licence. I am thinking of buying a car and get a learner insurance for 28 days on it... I've been introduced to some websites which they do this (like collingwoods...). As a learner I don't have anyone who let me drive their car so the only option left for me is to buy a car and get it insured as a learner in my name while I'm the only policyholder on the car!
