Roy,

As long as you have a clean driving licence, you should not have any problems getting insurance. If on the other hand, you're asking whether any car insurance company will recognise the fact that you have 11 years driving experience and made no claims, then that's something else. As a named driver, you do not accumulate any no claims bonus (NCB) in your own name which means that when you do decide to get your own insurance policy, you'll start with zero no claims bonus. It's probably best if you contact Zurich and ask whether they are willing to give you a discount because you've been with them for 11 years (and hopefully did not have any accidents whilst with them) and see how much your premiums are reduced. You can then use a car insurance comparison site to check the best deals for your circumstances. Some companies offer introductory discounts for people who are starting a policy in their name with them and have been a previous customer and others may consider your previous driving experience as a named driver to give you a discount of some sort. It's hard to tell exactly which company is best for you..
