Selling car without valid tax

Hi

I bought a car 2 days ago but I want to sell it because I didn't like it but I havent insured this car but the tax is running out today. So how can I tax my car without insurance.

Ugur,

You've just made your life this little bit more difficult by not thinking carefully before buying this car. The problem is that you cannot tax a car without valid insurance. What came to my mind was to get temporary insurance for your car and then tax it but you will not be able to do that either because the shortest period you can get road tax for is 6 months and you will need to have at least 6 months insurance cover to get it taxed.

This leaves you with only 2 solutions. First one is to keep the car and either get insurance and tax it or declare it SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification). Second choice you have is to sell it without road tax.
