Temp insurance cover for new drivers

I am a 25. I passed my test 3 weeks ago. Are there any companies that will cover me for a two day vehicle hire?Thank you, from Stella

The short answer is no I'm afraid. There are 2 main conditions for temporary car insurance - the first one is that you must be over 21 and the second one is that you must have held your licence for at least a year. So although you satisfy the 1st condition, you still need to wait roughly a year before you can get short term cover.

If you tell me what you need the insurance for, maybe I could suggest an alternative?
