Wait for driving ban to end or appeal?

Got two months left on my ban to run but could do with it back before as work may involve me to travel, how would I stand trying to get it back or would the cost outweigh the wait (drink drive 28 month ban).

Mark,

The process for appealing a driving ban is straightforward but the same does not apply for the results. You can write to the court which sentenced you to contest their decision and have them re-evaluate your disqualification. However, if you've got only 2 months left on the driving ban, then perhaps it would make more sense to just wait until the ban expires. This would save you from any stress you're likely to encounter when dealing with the appealing process and court fees as well. Not to mention that you need to have a special reason for requesting your driving licence early which should be in the form of change in your circumstances which require you to drive and that doesn't include work problems unfortunately.
