The offence code for driving without insurance is IN10 - it is using a vehicle uninsured against third party risks as this is the minimum level of cover you are required by law. This will stay on your licence for 4 years from the date the offence was committed and you're likely to incur 6-8 penalty points on your licence for being charged with it.
