Will I lose my no claims bonus if a 2nd driver on my policy has an accident?

My wife had a minor graze with another vehicle in a car park. She is the 2nd named driver on my policy. Does this mean I will lose my no claims bonus even though I didn't have the accident?

Depending how many years no claims discount (NCD) you've got, you will lose some if not all of it unless you have protected no claims bonus. Any claims that additional drivers on a policy make will affect the policyholder. Same thing happened to a friend of mine - wife had accident in car park, no one would accept responsibility for the accident, when it was time for car insurance renewal, friend lost his NCB.
